This product was bought as a part of a surprise wedding anniversary gift for some family members - so I haven't seen the item in the flesh or tasted it. My relatives were very pleased with it though, both with the taste and the surprise element of opening the box to find a selection of goodies. The thing which struck me most about this order, though, was the level of customer service both from Amazon and from Thorntons. I had not realised that the recipients had also arranged a surprise - a few days away from home! I had to contact Amazon again very quickly to try to 'hold' the order. They passed my message to Thorntons promptly who, in turn, emailed me directly and kept a 'conversation' going with me until the item was safely delivered. The fact that the mix-up was entirely my fault did not stop both companies from giving excellent service.

I sent this as a gift for my mother who was absolutely thrilled with the contents! All kinds of chocolates were included and the box was fabulous, so nice it can be used for other things!Thorntons I Love Chocolate Hamper
