Proud Camden hosts Elton John photo celebration

Proud Camden is offering photography lovers a rare opportunity to peer into the world of Sir Elton John as the venue announces an exhibition of images from legendary Elton-snapper Terry O’Neill.

Between 24th September to 2nd November the gallery will be hosting Eltonography: A Life in Pictures by Terry O’Neill, a collection of images which chart the transformation of Reginald Dwight into Elton John.

Billed as an “unprecedented window into the private life of a public icon”, the exhibition is launched to coincide with the release of a book by the same name.

Describing O’Neill as his “court photographer” Sir Elton said: “I’m so glad he was with us throughout the madness: in his evocative and stylish photos he captured those moments as no other photographer could.”
