City launches 22nd Dragon Awards

Friday saw the launch of the 22nd Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards. First launched by the then Lord Mayor Sir David Rowe-Ham in 1987, the awards seek to celebrate businesses and public bodies across Greater London who get involved with their communities.

The City of London’s ward elections were held yesterday (16th March) with 128 candidates contesting 100 seats across the 25 Wards., however due to the number of candidates standing in each Ward, only 13 wards had contested elections.
