AMs to discuss Arts Council row and Olympic legacy

London Assembly Members will tomorrow examine how to ensure the Olympic Park brings real benefits for Londoners. They will also discuss the appointment of the Chair of the Arts Council for London following recent claims that Boris Johnson interfered in the selection process.

Olympic bosses to face London Assembly

The London Assembly will tomorrow (Wednesday 21 October) question Oylimpic chiefs, including Lord Coe and John Armitt, Chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority, about the preparations for the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

Ross quits 2012 roles

David Ross has stood down from his 2012 Olympic roles after reports that he used his shares in Carphone Warehouse as collateral against personal loans without informing his fellow directors.
