Greens accuse Mayor of failing to keep Londoners warm

London’s Green Party has condemned Mayor Boris Johnson for removing details of the Greater London Authority’s home insulation scheme, which offers discounted insulation kits from as little as £50 and free insulation to the over-70s and people on benefits, from the GLA website.

TfL delegates street enforcement to Wandsworth

Transport for London is to hand over responsibility for enforcing pavement obstructions along part of the A24 to Wandsworth Council, the local authority. Under a new six-month initiative the council will gain the power to control pavement obstructions, including display boards and tables and chairs, along the A24 Tooting High Street/Upper Tooting Road between Coverton Road and Lynwood Road.
