Brent Council is the latest public body to embrace openness and accountability by announcing its first ever live webcast of a full council meeting.
Councillors meet meet Monday (18th November) to discuss budget proposals for 2014/15.
Local residents will be able to watch online from 7pm at www.brent.gov.uk/democracy and comment on the meeting by tweeting @Brent_Council using the hashtag #BrentLive.
Tweets will be published on the council’s website alongside the live broadcast
A spokesperson said the borough was the first in London to integrate Twitter with live streaming of full Council meetings in this way.
