Fulham council signs international polo deal

London cycle hire scheme opens to tenders
Transport for London is inviting bids to run a new bike hire scheme after a study released today showed the scheme is viable and could create more than 40,000 extra daily cycle trips in central London.
Tube Lines boss moves to Crossrail
Terry Morgan, Chief Executive of tube maintenance contractor Tube Lines has been appointed non-executive chairman of Crossrail. Morgan will replace Doug Oakervee at Crossrail in November 2009 and remains with Tube Lines until then.
