5 out of 5 stars Brilliant   March 27, 2008
Marion Galvin
I honestly think this is one of the best albums i have ever listened to and ever produced, its simply brilliant, with so many different genres of songs, its always surprisingy you, and keeps you listening.

Personal favourite has to be 'your gaurdian angel', possibly my favourite song of all time, just amazing, brilliant acoustic beggining with fantastic lyrics finishing with force. i highly recommend this album to people who truly appreciate GREAT music!

5 out of 5 stars One of the best albums of the year   June 22, 2007

This album has almost every form of genre-ish song. 'Guardian Angel' is Rock-Ballad, 'Face Down' is pop rock, 'Justify' is Heavy Rock, just to name a few. The songs are good and their lyrics are amazing espically 'Guardian Angel''s. Great band, great songs, great album (don't know about the abnd's name though lol). 5 Stars. Recommended to all rock fans and fans who just like anything that sounds good to them.

4 out of 5 stars WOW   February 22, 2007

I bought this album a good 6 months ago and was simply amazed. It really struck a chord in me instantaneously. One of my favourite tracks, 'Face Down' is the best known and I think really sums up their sound: intense but sensitive. Tracks like 'Your Guardian Angel' particularly advocate the sensitivity and almost bring a tear to my eye. There's also abit of screamo, but it doesn't offend at all, in fact ,it really enhances some of the songs.
I've heard the band aren't very impressive live, actually i'm pretty sure they're nothing special live as i've watched them live on youtube BUT this doesn't mean you can't enjoy this very satisfying album.

Seriously it's a must buy. You have to experience it. You'll like it if you like mainly emo/hardcore/alternative stuff. For example, A Change of Pace, Taking Back Sunday, Saosin etc..

Enjoy!

3 out of 5 stars a worthy hybrid of current popular rock genres   August 13, 2006

Despite their arbitrary moniker, the album title reflects plenty of honesty within this Floridian outfit's music. Autobiographical lyrics tell their tale within an eclectic framework of searing metallic riffs, pop punk melody, emo rock sensibilities and hair raising scream-core. Indeed `Don't You Fake It' belies the tender 21 year average age of the band with an ethic and know how that puts many older matched genre bands to shame. RJSA's music is a mouth-watering hybrid of the best traits associated with bands like Underoath, Story of the Year and The All American Rejects. From the hard edged pop punk of `Face Down' through to the piano led `Cat and Mouse' or the heavy screamo of `Atrophy', RJSA may lack innovation, but push all the right buttons in terms of merging popular rock genres

5 out of 5 stars In one word: Awesome   July 28, 2006

This is a album has everything catchy riffs, touching lyircs and some of the best drumming of any album of this kind. There are also pieces of screamo chucked in for good measure. My favourite tracks are face down, in fate's hands and the beautiful but touching guardian angel. This band are not just another Fall Out Boy there better than them by a country mile. Their music should blistering the airwaves but its not cause it not considered mainstream but they are better than the stuff that that is. They put All American Rejects, Panic! At The Disco and The Academy Is to shame. Buy It Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
