excellent - compact and light but powerful April 19, 2008 bi.zero1 (London, UK) I was looking for a bagged vacuum cleaner which is compact and light but powerful, and after reading reviews for different models I purchased the Electrolux Powerlite Z3318. I am very pleased with its performance and haven't even used the maximum suction power yet. The vacuum cleaner works equally well on carpets and on hard floors thanks to the dual purpose floor nozzle and is also great for cleaning corners and upholstery (using the included nozzle tools). Highly recommended.
The worst vacuum cleaner I have ever had April 3, 2008 H. Acton 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had this vacuum cleaner for several months, and it is by far the worst I've ever had. Talk about a false economy! It simply doesn't suck. The only way to get it to do anything at all is by removing the long straight tube and using the little attachment on the end of the hose to vacuum inch by inch. Ludicrous!
Best value for money January 25, 2008 Daniel Z. Secada 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Excellent product. The only thing is the capacity of the bag, everything else is perfect.
great for small flats January 23, 2008 P. Zakowiecki (London) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
this little baby does exactly what it's meant to do - no thrills though; the hoover is small, simple, rather ugly and VERY loud, but it's REALLY powerful (i never use it at more than a halfway power setting) and runs very smoothly. i've just got it so i can't really tell how reliable it is, but i think that electrolux is a brand worth trusting. plus it seems to be rather well-built; a minor problem is the power cord - it's around 10 ft at most, so it might be annoying for people living in larger places;
nevertheless it's great value for money - highly recommended
What a lifesaver, and so cheap too! December 17, 2007 eeksqueak (London, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
After nearly two years of misery using an awful Morphy Richards pod cleaner that utterly failed to vacuum up a thing, I was desperate for a new hoover but uh oh! No money. I thought I was doomed to a filthy floor forever when I found this affordable little gem on Amazon. Bought it, got it home and in a single swift vacuum it returned my disgusting carpet to pristine condition. It took up all the hairs, the fluff, the crumbs, all the annoying little specks of dirt - everything. Haven't tried it on wood flooring but it certainly does the business on my carpet - great suction, very easy to manouevre and nice and compact. The only drawback is that it is quite noisy but hey! It cleans like a demon! And for 31 what a bargain!!
