I treated myself to this funky necklace for my birthday in late August, and to spend an Amazon voucher I had won for doing online surveys...I thought from the picture that it would be darker in colour than it actually was - the real colour of the beads is more light tan/yellow/orange than brown - but these contrast well with the dark silvery colour of the links.
I was rather disappointed by the fact that it was described as being "amber", but my impression was that the large beads were made of either wood or plastic that resembled rutilated quartz! However, it will still look good on autumnal colours like dark brown or olive green, and I am sure it will be noticed. Lovely presentation in that brown velvet purse, too, so it would make a good present.
