Brilliant compact camera August 9, 2008 Rory Macdowall (London) The Canon Ixus 75 is incredible for its tiny size, with a number of fantastic shooting modes, such as manual, auto, macro, colour accent, fireworks, kids & pets, and many more. The 3" screen is fantastic, and more than makes up for the fact that there is no viewfinder. The colours are brilliant, and the 12x digital zoom works fantastically outside. For its size and price, this camera is fantastic.
Excellent bit of kit August 4, 2008 Kenneth S. Marshall (Glasgow) I bought this camera 2 months ago and I still cant believe how good it is. The best money I have ever spent on an electronic product. It is compact, lightweight, has a very fast start up time and takes superb photos. You can have it up and running within 2 minutes of opening the box and it is has a very intuitive user interface. I am just back from NY an everybody has commented on how good the photos are. It never ran out of battery life either. The only slight complaint is that the memory card that comes with the camera only holds 20 photos. I went to Argos and bought a 1Gb memory card for 15. Overall one of the best purchases I have ever made!!!! :-)

LISTEN! the only reason i am rating this camera 1 star is to get the attention of people who are pessimistic and want to know the downsides of a camera.
I know a lot about cameras and this is truely brilliant! i know my review wont impact the score on this camera because over 50 people have voted it 5/5.
trust me this camera is magnificant. so many subtle yet beautiful features. Even the feel is nice, its made out of metal and plastic in perfect quantities.
If you want an easy point and shoot with good quality images but also with nice subtle features then choose this.
Superb and easy to use July 27, 2008 Aquatica (England) There are loads of reviews on this camera which go into lots of technical detail. So I shall keep my review to a few key points instead: 1) I am SO pleased with my purchase. It's slim and the viewing screen on the back is HUGE so it's great for sharing photos with friends and family. 2) The picture quality is great - 7 megapixels is more than enough to blow up to 8 by 10 photos. If you are only using a camera for snaps, then I recommend that you don't actually need more than 5 or 7 megapixels. If you have more megapixels, you only take up more space on your memory card. 3) The photo downloading software is really easy to use. I have configured it so that when I plug my camera into the USB port on my computer, I only need to press one button and the photos download automatically. Great camera - recommend it to anyone!
Ixus 75 is amazing July 25, 2008 Mr. R. J. Heaps (UK) I got my Ixus back in 2007 and I can honesly say I cannot fault it. Its small, its light, it has great image quality. the battery lasts for ever and I love the big screen on the back. The shutter lag is also non-existent (Canon probably say 1/250 of a second or something). If you're looking for a good, small, fun digital, go for it!
