 Solid, performer for a good price July 19, 2008

Recently bought this and been using it regularly for a week; its a solid performer nothing special but it does the job. Fiddly on/off mechanism and needs some adjusting on the ear given the swivel ear piece but on the whole good value.

First of all its cheap....dont forget that!
BUT it is easy to connect, just pair then set up as a mic. And i have found the sounds good enough, even during COD4 with explosions going off etc. The only problem i have is the constant blue flashing light, hense not 5 Star.
Basically if you just want to use it for online gaming and arent a serious gamer then this is the headset for you, its cheap and does its job.

This Headset was a bit confusing to set up, would be a lot easier with an on off switch. However i got it set up, sound is ok, overall not bad for the price but there are better about

Dont expect miracles from this little device but you can expect an excellent purchase.
I have only used the headset for online gaming on the ps3 and it works well with slight echo which i can only imagine is a problem with online gaming rather than the headset itself.
The device is a little fiddly to put in and around your ear but once achieved it will be easy to do from then on and once its on it stays perfectly in your ear, remains comfortable and you barely even realise you are wearing it.
The device is extremely easy to pair up if you read the instructions. Just hold the button for five seconds until you hear a start up sound in your ear then press again for a few seconds until the light is solid and then register the device on the ps3 xmb and then you are free to speak to the rest of the gaming world.
My only concern is that the talktime is as long as it states, I would say from a full charge you get about 4 hours of talk time from it. But when it hardly takes 2 hours for a full charge via a mini usb it makes the situation very minor.
Apart from this little detail my advice is to go and buy this great bit of kit as you wont find anything better for the price in my opinion.

...then this is the device for you. It has paired with nothing. I am convinced that it is just a light with a beeping volume button. Feel very cheated indeed - over 10 (inc. P&P) to receive what appears to be a dummy product.
